BOARD D LIBRARY TRUSTEES 6/18/02 BAGS TWO III COM MUNI ATIONS: (Continued) D, David passed out to the meeting an informational memo from the Office of ,the Board of Selectmen which con- sisted of a listing of the five selectmen and their various assignments as liaisons -to the various town boards and committees* Another communication to the trustee ch i=an for the Mass. Board of Library Commissioners . This was . axe in- vitation to the send-off .for the director of the Board of LibrarN7 Commissioners . They will meet in Worcester at the Armory. Keith Michaels Eiels has been hired as the Executive Director of the American Library Association. Helene explained that was probably the number~ two job in the country. IV NEW STIES David advised . that there was a request for the library to serve as a ticket sales location. It was to benefit the Boys ' andGirls ' Club. They plan to have a spaghetti supper. Helene explained that a gentleman had visited the library to -ask about posting a notice on the bulletin board. Then he asked if the library could be a distribu- tion point, Helene explained that she would - have to bring this before the trustees . He was interested in knowing if for the future that would- be something that would be allowable. Discussion. ' Davit advised that they would not have to make a motion on that issue. They were aware of it, and if they should have another request, they will revisit it.
