BOARD of LIBRARY TRUSTEES <br /> NOTES OF INFORMAL SESSION <br /> TUESDAYS SEPTEMSER 10,2002 <br /> MASIELPEE LIBRARY MEETING Roots <br /> Tru-stew Present: Helene DeFoe, David BurtonL Ann MacDonald-Darcy, and Dianna <br /> Smith. <br /> Absent: Gary Eynatian,Mini Marsh, Carlo D' st , and Alice Rauppius. <br /> Since a quote was not present those in attendance agreed to hold ars informal session.. <br /> Chairman, David Burton, announced there would be a meeting at 7030 p.m. tonight and a <br /> Fund Raising Committee will be for ned. David asked if someone comes to rind to the <br /> Board of Trustees to serve on this Fund Raising Committee to please let him know. Also,, he <br /> noted there would he a need for a Corresponding Secretary to serve on that Committee. <br /> David put together a packet of information as a reference tool for the Fund Raising <br /> Committee and he distributed copies to the Trustees for their information. <br /> David said he got in touch with Dick Weir and that Norma and Joe Hawley indicated they'd <br /> e happy to join the Committee. <br /> 1n discussing the Committee, it was noted that the Fund Raising Committee would come <br /> under Friends of the Library and herefore the project can go under the ' riends" 5010 <br /> umbrella. <br /> CLAMS Transition <br /> Helene gave a very brief rundown on this, saying she'll report on this at next meeting when <br /> quorum is present. However she mentioned that they had no access to the new program until <br /> 1030 a.m. and Library was opening at 1 p.m. So decision to have delayed opening was <br /> wise one. She noted.that even clay they learn more.
