As <br /> art ofthe Summer Reading Program, I have offered a Weekly Trivia Contest. The <br /> veer each week receives an Explore Other worlds @ your-librar T-shirt. we have <br /> had the following participation for the T via Contest: <br /> August 7 29 entries <br /> August 14 entries <br /> The Mashpee Cultural Council sponsored a special event this month as part of the <br /> Sumner LibraryAdventure. Henrye Juggler performed on August d. There were 4 <br /> m`y <br /> people who enjoyed the performance and a juggling workshop. <br /> Family Storytime was held on August �h. There were 19 participants who enjoyed the <br /> theme of Lobster Tales, <br /> The 4-H Coastal Explorer, a mobile marine science exhibit, was at the library on August <br /> . The Friends of the Library sponsored this event which was visited by 142 patrons. <br /> The grand finale of the Summer' ixi Program, our annual Ice Cream Social, was held <br /> on August 17'h. There were 7 participants who enjoyed nye-your-own sundaes, <br /> balloon animals and tattoos. <br /> On August 21 the librar hosted a live performance of the classic fairy tale, "The <br /> Fisherman and His wife". The Cape Cod Conservatory Acting Class, icludmng Jacek <br /> Zuansi Norina Leif, and Nannette Oldenbourg, presented this program free of charge <br /> to the library. It was a successful performance with 60 people attendance. <br /> I attended a workshop s on August 25hregarding the town's new web site. <br /> Rosemary Modic, our Early Childhood Specialist from the Upper Cape Family Network, <br /> has beenproviding a summer session of Toddle Time and Babies on Board Books with <br /> attendance as follows: <br /> August 2n Toddle Time I 2 <br /> Toddle Tie 11 12 <br /> August Toddle Time f 2 <br /> Toddle Time 11 1 <br /> August 4b Babies on Board Boobs 1 <br /> August 1 I th Babies on Board Books <br />
