People making use of Library since CLAMS also speeds turn-around. <br /> Time to update written policies so in future meetings these will be pulled to review and <br /> update. <br /> Each year in September review Monitoring Plan, that is, what's been done; changed; etc. <br /> oal ...The list of goals were discussed and Helene provided feedback and updates on each item, <br /> as well as explaining the on-going process. <br /> Motion: Carlo motioned to accept the Long-Range Flan as presented at this meeting; <br /> Fianna seconded this motion; and it was unanimously approved. <br /> All Trustees will sign the Long-Range Plan for submission. <br /> Discussion <br /> David advised that Sheldon Gilbert, Library Building Committee, submitted an R`Q (request for <br /> qualifications)to get an architect on board, which is a requirement of Tetter of Intent for a grant. <br /> David read an e-mail Sheldon Gilbert sent to the Board of Library Commissioners informing them <br /> of this filing. Nancy Stafford and Helene Defoe agreed to service on the RFQ Review Panel. <br /> Library Trustees Members <br /> David announced that Nancy Soderberg submitted a letter of interest to be considered as a <br /> candidate to serve on the Board of Library Trustees to fill the unexpired term of our departed <br /> Trustee, Alice Rauppius. The Trustees all read fancy Soderberg's letter and reviewed her <br /> background, experience and qualifications. <br /> Motion: Ann motioned that we appoint Nancy Soderberg to the Board of Library Trustee <br /> to ill the vacancy left by the late Alio Ruppius,effective tonight and contingent upon her <br /> being sworn in at the Town Clerk's Office; Nancy seconded this motion; and it was <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> Technical Services Librarian <br /> Helene noted that Sandy left at the end of August and that 5 applicants expressed an interest in the <br /> position. Of these five,Helen and David deterrm*ned that three of there had the qualifications <br /> needed for this position. Helene, David, and Marilyn Farren,Personnel Administrator, <br /> recommended Bridget Bontrager as the top candidate. Bridget is currently employed at Vineyard <br /> Maven Library. David advised that this matter is on the Selectmen's agenda for their meeting on <br /> Monday. <br /> Motion: David motioned to nominate and appoint M.Bridget Bontrager as Technical <br /> Services Librarian to begin early October; Dianna seconded the motion; and it was <br /> unanimously approved. <br />
