Where were 20 children in the morning
session and 12 children in the afternoon session,
On January 20 f was invited to speak at the Ki anis Meeting and they asked nae to bring
a wish list request. f lamed to the group of local embers and visit ag members from
the Dower Cape, about what the library has to offer, what children program mmg we
offer, and the future of the proposed new library. I also explained to them that I felt our
weakest arca at present is the Young Adult collection. Unfortunately, we have very lithe
space for the present Young Adult area, and we do not have any magazines for this age
cup. I asked the Kiwanis if they would consider purchasing a spinning magazine rack
for the Young Adult section. The moveable piece of farniture would allow us to display
and store magazines for Young Adults. It would.also be helpful when we are in
temporary location, and would eventually be housed in the new library. The magazine
rack I selected from the Demco catalog cost approximately $400.00 including shipping,
The Kiwan
