I had scheduled Big Ryan for"Sprit of the <br />} Holidays storytelling_ However, Big Ryan called in sick an hour before the program. <br /> Fortunately, my son, Danny, was available to help me put on a holiday'themed puppet <br /> shove. Junior volunteer, Claudia Hinkle dressed up as Mrs. Claus and passed out candy <br /> canes. There were 3+7 participants who enjoyed the program despite the fact that Big <br /> Ryan had cancelled. <br /> I visited the Kids Klub Preschool on December 7hand brought story time to 28 children <br /> in the morning session and 13 children in the afternoon session. <br /> On December- 16thI attended the Children's Librarians Roundtable meeting in Brewster. <br /> We discussed our family library event which was held in lovrber and spent much time <br /> planning our next event. <br /> t - <br /> Terri Lippman, a farmer preschool teacher who occasionally volunteers for rine, was <br /> scheduled to present a Hanukkah story time while I attended the Roundtable meeting. <br /> However,, when she arrived, the library had no power and she was unable to conduct the <br /> story time. <br /> k <br /> rt <br />
