It was air honor t be asked to participate in the statewide planning and da <br /> privilege working with all of the Regional Youth Services Administrators. <br /> .0n the way back from Worcester, I visited the Matta oisett Public Library in their <br /> temporary location which is housed in an elementary school. The principal of the school <br /> (ars old friend of mine) gave me a tour of the school, and hi s.p oint o view of having the <br /> public library within the school building. I then had a tour of the public library and <br /> chatted with the staff on their experiences with the temporary location. It was an <br /> enlightening experience. <br /> The library hosted three very successful proarams during the February school vacation <br /> week- <br /> On February 21 , Mary Wilson performed her Pi ter Patter Puppet Show to a <br /> audience of 105. This program was sponsored by the ler Ca eP <br /> nrlr <br /> Network. <br /> . <br /> "The Secret World of ubbl&' performed by Keith Michael. Johnson was held on <br /> 0 <br /> February 23 Since I anticipated a large turnout for this eve:t, 1t was held at the <br /> Christ the King Parish Miall. There were approximately 350 people in attendance, <br /> a record turnout for a library event. This program was sponsored by the M shpee <br /> Community Partnership Council. <br /> The Friends sponsored a dinosaur program by Kim Torres of Elements, Etc. on <br /> `x <br /> February 24 . There were 55 people who enjoyed this educationallro rangy. <br />
