Chairman suggested the Library Director be involved, as well as <br /> the Members of both the Building Expansion Committee and the <br /> Library Trustees . The date of Monday, January 24th at 12 : 30 p.m. <br /> was agreed upon. It was also agreed that the Children' s <br /> Librarian be included, as well as inviting input from all other <br /> staff members. <br /> Ms. Powers stated she would like to be able to address site <br /> capacity issues and suggested a meeting with the developers of <br /> the Mashpee Commons project be arranged as well . <br /> Mr. Lucker requested he be provided with any existing <br /> statistical data as it would relate to the collections, numbers <br /> of volumes in each category, videos, audios, size of the <br /> reference collection, and periodicals- -the data base. <br /> Helene DeFoe provided to Mr. Lucker for his review a State <br /> Planning Grant, which was denied to Mashpee due to certain code <br /> violations. <br /> Ms. Powers suggested meeting at 11: 30 a.m. on January 24th <br /> with anyone interested/available to do so in order to review site <br /> issues. <br /> The discussion concluding at this point, the Chairman <br /> thanked Ms. Powers and Mr. Lucker for their informative and <br /> helpful insight into today' s meeting. <br /> Adjournment <br /> There being no further Committee/Trustee business to <br /> address, the Chairman determined the Meeting was adjourned. <br /> (The January 12, 2000 joint Meeting of the Town of Mashpee <br /> Library Expansion Building Committee and Library Board of <br /> Trustees was thereupon dissolved at 4 :40 p.m. ) <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Henrietta DeArcangelis <br /> Board Secretary <br /> -5- <br />
