We had several stormy days in January which kept patrons at <br /> home. our year-to-date circulation is 79,776 items. Falmouth Library has closed <br /> their temporary facility and is mooring back into the renovated building. Their <br /> projected reopening is March 16th. We may see increased circulation activity in <br /> Mash pee while they are closed. <br /> Members of the Planning and Construction- met and I recently et with <br /> Patience Jackson at the Pembroke Public Library. Stewart Roberts and Rick <br /> Pomeroy, our new Owner's Project manager attended. Patience provided review <br /> comments on our Project. A summary of Patience's comments is attached to mfr <br /> report. I felt her input was invaluable will help us to build a better building. <br /> We are close to having a neer downloadable audio product. A CLAMS <br /> subcommittee Ices been working on exploring other vendors who carry the <br /> product. Customer service was ars issue . ith the previous vendor.' The new. <br /> company is called Over Drive and is used by many libraries I including Boston <br /> Public Library. We are currently working with the vendor to- select a core <br /> collection and set It up for circulation. l will update you on the progress nett <br /> month. <br /> lite had challenging week last unreel . Janet Bunce was on vacation and <br /> very <br /> two other 'staff members went home sick. I spoke -with Joyce Mason about <br /> coverage and she authorized reactivating Debbie U ioa to get us through the. <br /> crisis. l ebhie� was available three of the days and, her presence helped us <br /> tremendously. We are almost back to normal. la-uren had returned to work but <br /> is out again with recurring sy ptor s: The rest of the staff has returned and <br /> hopefully no one else-comes down with the virus that is going around town. <br /> r <br /> I mety esterday with the directors f Falmouth and Bourne Library. We have been- watchingthe progress of.Bill H4455 and gaiting for <br /> announcement f a public hearing. At that time, we will he looking for a.group to <br /> o to Boston for the heaNn .
