DeFoe From: Janet Burke Re: Monthly Report For the month of January, Rosemary and I held Toddle Time at Christ the King Parish Hall. we offered a drop-in Music and Movement program that was very well attended. Due to budget cuts to the UCFI , Rosemary's hours have been reduced. She wasn't planning to do Toddle Time for the month of January, and so we developed this alternative program. Instead of offering three registered story times, we held one drop-in session. By combining our efforts, there was very little prep time required. Parents were so pleased with the movement program during the confining winter weather that we are considering offering the program for two months next year. The attendance was as follows: January 5 t" Toddle Time 5.6 January 12thToddle Time 60 January 26 th Toddle Time 67 Preschool Story Time resumed in January. Again I am offering two registered groups on Friday afternoons. Because of our space, I have limited the number of participants to 8 children(and their caregivers and younger siblings) and registration is required. January 9 ' Preschool Story Hour f 12 Preschool Story Hour II January Wh Preschool Story Hour 29 1 combined both groups on this day as we had a storyteller from the Waldorf School and a visit from Regal Cinemas to promote the new movie, "Hotel for Dogs". January 23ird Preschool Story Hour I I Preschool Story Hour II 11 January 30'b Preschool Story Hour 1 1 Preschool Story Hour II 11 I visited the Kids Klub Preschool on January 9th and brought story time to 35 children. The Upper Cape Fancily Network held its quarterly meeting on January 8 thin Bourne. This is the grant project which brings us Rosemary and funding for fancily events On January 13t"I attended a SEMLS workshop in Lakeville. This workshop, Mock Ca.lde ott, was a wonderful opportunity to learn about the Calde ott Committee selection process, the criteria used in evaluating picture boobs, and a chance to examine and critique many recently published picture boobs.
