I ordered a butterfly lit for the Children's Department which we kept on the circulation desk.
Each child that came into the library during the month of June, was able to see the caterpillars
create their chrysalis and avehtually hatch as butterflies. It was a fascinating project which
delighted both children and adults. On June 14 we released the butterflies in the story garden.
There were 28 people in attendance.
The class tours of students from both the Coombs and Quashnet Schools continued into the
month of.lune. Each class received a tour of the library building and an explanation of the
Statewide Summer Reading Program.
June 2nd 10:00 Class Tour 22
1030 Class Tour 22
11:00 Class Tour 22
1:00 Class Tour 22
1:30 Class Tour 22
2;00 Class Tour 22
June 7 ' 10:0 Mass Tour 22
10:30 Class Four 22
June 9th 12:30 Class Four 22
2:00 Mass{Tour 22
June 14 1.0:00 Class Four 22
10:30 Mass Tour 22
June 1 11:00 Class Tour 22
11:30 Class Tour 22
x-.00 Class Tour 22
1:30 Class Tour 22
June 1 0:00 Mass Tour 22
10:30 C lass Tour 22
11:00 Class Tour 22
June 2 1 10:00 Class Four 22
10:30 Mass Tour 22
.lune 25 10:00 Class Four 22
12:30 Class Tour 22
Many class tows had to be cancelled or rescheduled due to the closing of the library because of
the odor issue.
