This was -wee play and movement prograwr
for school-age children. Sarah Daley, ar former preschool teacher and colleague from the
M as h pee Family.and Commu pity Partnership, wrote the gra nt to purchase equipm nt
(parachute, hula hoops, jump ropes, etc.). She then donated her time.to provide the program
every Saturday morning. The library provided the space, recruited the participants and handled
the registration. The program was well received and proved so popular that we will run
another one-day event in June. Also, we have talked with the Coordinator of the Mashpee
Family and Community Partnership to discuss the possibility f offering this program in the fall
in addition to Rosemary's programs, because Project Play targets an older audience. This
program was registration only and was full.
