4 <br /> 4 <br /> C <br /> i <br /> Ma hpee Public Library <br /> December 13, 2011 <br /> Director's Report <br /> Circulation for the month ofl November was 13,204 iters,which represents a 2.4%.increase from <br /> 12,888 items for the month of November 2010. This is the first time this fiscal year that we have <br /> reversed the decline in circulation from FY 2011. overall, the entire CLAMS system showed' <br /> decrease of 2.5%in total circulation for the month of November 2011, so we can potentially <br /> attribute our higher individual numbers to the expanded hours and our efforts to increase the <br /> materials in the collection. <br /> On Thursday ev ning,November 17, our Author Series attracted 30 patrons for a program hosted <br /> by local biographer, Chip Bishop. The presentation was informative and entertaining and the <br /> crowd stayed for ars extended question and answer session after the program concluded.ed.
