The second in this series of monthly events w s held ars <br /> November 5 1h. The library hosted Miss Kim's Dinosaur Dig for 65 participants in the Story <br /> Room. The purpose of the program is to have "families"engage In a learning experience and <br /> this event truly met the objective. We had many cads, some grandparents, and several families <br /> from the base. I pointed out to Julie that several children who usually attend library programs <br /> with their nannies r babysltters, were able to attend with their actual parents because the event <br /> is held on Saturday mornings. This collaboration is a successful way to showcase our library. <br /> 1 have also collaborated with Julie Hall to bring two different series of Parenting Workshops t <br /> the library. The final evening of the five-week series of"Strengthening Families"workshop <br /> presented by Cindy Horgan was held on November Pwith ars attendance of 12. "Parenting <br /> Toolbox for Lads"presented by Paul Melville was held n: <br /> November 1" <br /> November 8 tr 6 - <br /> November 15 th <br /> t <br /> The Lids Klub Preschool visited the library on November 4 th There were IS children that <br /> enjoyed a story hour. <br /> The SilverfishBook Club, for 2nd and P graders, met on November l Ota'. There were 5 student <br /> who attended our first meeting for the year. We discussed the book for the month, had a craft <br /> project, snack and a game. <br />
