Lolita McC ay seconded <br /> this notion; and it was unanhnously approved. <br /> Fire Department_.0 Chief Baker gave an update on Reverse 911 testing and provided a copy of"'Hot <br /> News"dated 9/15/03 (copy attached to printed set of minutes). Following are highlights of Chief <br /> Baker's convents: <br /> Those phone numbers on"do not call list"or unlisted numbers were impacted and not <br /> included on Reverse 911 list but Chief Baker is asking Verizon for these numbers so they may <br /> be added to reverse 911 listing. <br /> Examples of benefits of Reverse 911, Chief cited Board of Health and Boating Safety and, in <br /> particular,the printout of numbers called and disposition of call that Board of Health is <br /> provided. <br /> Last phone call goes to Chief Baker's cell phone...he then knows all numbers have been <br /> called. <br /> Chief Baker then explained his urgent need for I or 2 dedicated laptops; and asked MCAT for <br /> financial support. Joyce Mason agreed that laptops are definitely needed.
