getting pment installed, Finally, Chief Collins invited the MCAT Board to come to the Police Departrnent <br /> Communications Center to view the system. The Board indicated that once the system is up and running they <br /> od definitely come to see it, Scott Halligan advised it is estimated that it will take about 3 months to have <br /> rt the system installed and up and running. <br /> Scott then provided a copy of Wright-sine's proposal (includes floor plan) for the consoles at a cost of <br /> $25,248-39. Scott explained that this company is about$19,000 cheaper than the company who made a <br /> proposal earlier; plus Wright-Line comes highly recommended. A copy of Wright-line"s proposal is attached <br /> to the printed set of these minutes. <br /> The matter was reviewed and discussed in detail. Andrew commented that he had been in contact with Jim <br /> Chisholm:k and that Jim Chisholm has given his okay to this expenditure and also his proxy for the vote. <br /> However,Jinn Chisholm has also issued a stem warm'ng that we should be cautious with any further fundmng <br /> since we are close to the bottom line. <br /> Motion: Lolita McCray motioned to approve the funding for the consoles for the Mashpee Police Department <br /> Dispatch Center Renovation Project Mn the amount o $25,248.39. ane wolfset seconded this motion-and <br /> it was unanimously approved. The funds are to be taken out of the PEG Account. <br /> The members of the Police Department thanked MCAT for their support and they all exited the meeting at this <br /> point. <br /> Town Annual Report <br /> olita.McCray raised the question: why is MCAT not mentioned in the Town's Annual Report?
