There are 118 tiles. Everything looks good and we are ready to go.
However after reviewing the tiling with a number of Town employees that will be using this imagery, it has been
suggested that the Town would benefit greatly by adding 5 additional tiles. The consultant has quoted a cost of
$100 per additional tile. This would move the cost of the project from $17,000 to$17,500.
I was hoping this change in cost could be approved without waiting for the next meeting as the consultant is
expecting the contract to be returned prior to the scheduled flight(tentatively set for April 1). 1 understand this is
unorthodox and I would usually schedule this for a meeting, but the consultant just completed the tile grid last
week and we have just finished analyzing it.
Please let me know if you have any questions,
Thank you,
-Tom
4/10/2007
