<br /> The Chairman opened the meeting at 9:05 am in the Carol H,
<br /> Jacobson senior Centaur.
<br /> The outreach Coordinator presented her report because she had
<br /> to lease to attend another meeting. Five new volunteers were
<br /> added this month making a total of over Zoo now available to
<br /> assist with various tasks at the senior Center.
<br /> Frank Hicks made a motion to accept the secretary' s Deport as-.
<br /> written and it was seconded by Mimi Mullin. 8o moved.
<br /> There was no Treasurer's Report because the monthly report
<br /> was not received from the Accountant's Office.
<br /> The Director banded out his report and it was discussed. ' The
<br /> Council congratulated both Jim and Lie for the superb
<br /> presentation that they made so that we were awarded the ROSE
<br /> award, We were one of only two council. in Massachusetts s
<br /> honored, Jim Long handed ,out a letter from Bob Whritenour
<br /> regarding the ownership of the Thrift Shop and B. Jean Thomas
<br /> a former seect ►an) .told us that formal acceptance by the.
<br /> Town with appropriate paperwork and notifications did not
<br /> tale place. The Director will write to the President of the
<br /> Friends so that they may advise us what there wishes' are
<br /> regarding the building. _ +
