MASEPEE COMMONS ADVISORY COMM=E <br /> MAS]HPEE TOWN MALL <br /> JANUARY 3, 1996 <br /> The following members were present: Spyro Mtrokosta , Chairman,Nick Dernas,Tom Fudala,Robert <br /> Whritenour,Executive Secretary,,lames Dorgan,Marie Scaey,John Ferguson,Buff Chace,Douglas <br /> Storrs,Dennis Balani,Margo Fenn,Torn Potts and Peter Dini io,Selectmen <br /> The meeting convened at 5:15 p.m. <br /> DISCUSSION RB: CONSULTANT <br /> memorandum from the Selectmen was presented to the committee in regards to considering the hiring <br /> f a consultant for the NWhpee Commons Advisory Committee. Ager a brief discussion,ll r.Ferguson <br /> motioned to table the discussion on hiring consultant till May 1996 with the option of reconsidering the <br /> the specified date prior to May. lints. Scalley seconded the motion. Five members voted yes. Two were <br /> opposed and one abstain by I1rIr, Divi io. <br /> PRESENTATION FOR JOBS FISINO RD.NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> Mr. Chace distributed a grin of the neighborhood and summarized from the 1991 blueprints presented to <br /> the committee. 1W. Storrs pointed out areas on residential and mixed use. Current zoning for the Jobs <br /> Fishing Rd. neighborhood allows for 21 lots of 40,040 square feet each and that two floors of 320,000 <br /> square feet of commercial building could be constructed in the neighborhood.,W Chace indicated that <br /> Fields Points wants the zoning changed for the neighborhood parced to allow for mixed use and that <br /> Fields Point would also seed a change in the Towns subdivision regulations for flexibility in lot size and <br /> the dimension requirements. b4r. Chase fix her indicated that the Reverend Tosti had been ba contact <br /> with Fields point and had expressed his interest in the neighborhood. <br /> The committee decided to complete the discussion on the proposals for Jon's Fishing Rd. and Whitings <br /> Rd. at the next meeting. They also requested that Mr. Chace provide information on the Trout Pond <br /> parcel and their interest in the Performing Arts Center and the Hotel which wiU be considered at a later <br /> date. <br /> Mr.Mtrol o tas opened the floor to Public comments. No members from the community had any matters <br /> to be discussed. <br /> Agenda for February 13, 1996 <br /> To be discussed will be Jogs Fishing Rd. compiled with WIdtings.Rd. and Trout Fond. <br /> llrir. Dinizio motioncd to adjourn the meeting at 7:00 p.m. llrlr.Bal acini seconded the motion.
