The Chairman, Kenneth Marsters, presided. <br /> Committee Members present-, Kenneth Marsters, Selectman; <br /> Robert whri t pour, Executive secretary p.m. ) ; F. Arnold Chace and Douglas las Storrs, Mashpee CommonS Ltd. <br /> Partnership. <br /> The Chairman declared a quorum to be present and called the <br /> Meeting to order. He apologized for any inconvenience <br /> postponement of the February loth meeting may have caused. He <br /> then presented ars updated Agenda and deferred to Douglas Storrs <br /> for presentation thereof. <br /> Refinement of Proposal <br /> Refinement of Flan - Unit Profiles <br /> Mr, Storrs explained the position of Ma hpee Commons Ltd. <br /> Partnership is to define a more simplified approach to their <br /> proposal in ars attempt to reflect the Committee' s desire to <br /> recommend the Flan in increments. <br /> The Jobs Fishing Road and whiting' s Road Neighborhoods have <br /> been refined to be included in the first phase of the proposal; <br /> the East Steeple street Neighborhood and the remainder to North <br /> Market street are to proceed as outlined in the Commercial Center <br /> Bylaw; and deleting plans for the Trout Pond parcel for the time <br /> being. Also, they are not planning to pursue a mixed-use aspect <br /> to the remainder of North Market Street at this time, whereby the <br /> project could proceed under existing zoning. Bast Steeple Street <br /> is to be very similar to North Market Street. <br /> Mr. Storrs commented on the aesthetic benefits of two-story <br /> buildings. He stated they have made an attempt to create balance <br /> between critical mass and the request to reduce the scope. <br /> Whiting' sRoad - Smaller lot, predominantly single-family <br /> neighborhood, eighty o plus, minus, single-family homes; <br />
