Town of Mahpee <br /> Mashpee Commons Advisory Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> July 91 1998 <br /> The Mashpee Commons Advisory Committee Meeting was called to <br /> order in Conference Room r #1, Mashp-ee Town Hall,, 16 Great Neck x <br /> Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts, at p.m. on Thursday, <br /> my 9, 1998 . Selectman Leveille presided. <br /> Conunittee Members present: David Leveille, Selectman; <br /> Robert Whritenouri Executive secretary- F. Thomas Fudala, Town <br /> Planner; Sally Bold; Melbourne Cra well; John Ferguson; and <br /> Robert Lynch. <br /> i <br /> Absent: Kenneth Marsters, selectman/Chairman; John <br /> u hinski, Planning Board Member; Chance Reichel, planning Board <br /> Member; Stephen roc to; and AntoinetteBrooks . <br /> i <br /> Also present : Arnold Chace p.m.. ) and Douglas Storrs, <br /> Mashpee Comoros Ltd. Partnership Mc P . <br /> Selectman Leveille declared a quorum to be present and <br /> called the Meeting to order. <br /> Selectman Leveille deferred to Mr. Storrs for presentation <br /> of the draft Fiscal Impact Study. Mr. Storrs informed the <br /> Committee thatJeff Bronow, from Tischler & Associates, Inc. was <br /> present at the meeting aria would bring to their~ attention the <br /> highlights of the Fiscal Impact Study, and that comments from the <br /> Committee Members were welcome. <br /> Mr. Bronow explained the process for this study bear <br /> approximately six months acro, and that the information <br /> provided should be considered a draft summary of findings. He <br /> then provided a brief introduction of Tischler & Associates, Inc. <br /> Mshpee Coons Fiscal Impact Analysis <br /> 1. Interview Town Departments and service Providers; <br /> . write level- of services document; <br /> . ]develop fiscal impact model; <br /> 4. Analyze results; and <br /> . write the fiscal impact report . <br /> At this point, Mr. Cawel.l established the fact that Mr. <br /> ronow has been an employee of Tischler & Associates for three <br /> years and that this is his first assirent in the northeast <br /> area of the Country. <br /> Continuing, Mr. Bronow informed the Committee of the <br /> methodology used, the' case study marginal cost approach (which <br /> differs from the average cost approach) , involving interviewing <br />
