Vere will be no changes to the property. She wishes to use <br /> one bedroom and one bath as a B&B located above the garage. There are two efts, one through <br /> the existing house and one private entrance. There are two parking spaces in addition to her two- <br /> car garage. This meets the parking requirements. Vere is a motion detector light from the <br /> parking area to the entrance. It is hardwired for smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors <br /> are present. A continental breakfast will be served. <br /> Board of Health: The septic was built for four bedrooms, and three will be dedicated for the <br /> main dwelling and one for the B&B unit. No food prep shall be allowed on-site for the guests. <br /> Mrs. Notarius obtained a BB permit for one unit I from the BOH. The residential kitchen <br /> permit is not necessary at this time, but it would be required along with a certified food manager <br /> training certificate if here is ever any mead preparation for guests. <br /> DPW: At this time Horseshoe Bend way, a dirt road, is a private road which the <br /> residents/property owners are responsible for maintaining. In years past, it has been on the list <br /> of roads not plowed by the Town because of its poor condition. This road is on the list for road <br /> taking by the Town. <br /> Where was one letter in opposition concerning parking and traffic entering and exiting the <br /> propel. Deborah McDonald of 30 Horseshoe Bead way writes: The location of the property <br /> is extremely close to the entrance from Sandwich Road and is blind upon entry onto Horseshoe <br /> Bend Way. The potential for ars accident is high because of low visibility and the narrowness of <br /> the road. <br /> There were several,abutters in attendance who were in favor of the B&B citing that they wo.uld <br /> use this service when they are overloaded with visiting guests. <br />
