Minutes of Combined Meeting of <br /> 1ashpee Design Review Committee and <br /> Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br /> Held Thursday, August 1 ,2008 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room I <br /> Design Review Members Present: Walter Yarosh, Robert Nelson, Toni O'Hara:, Torn Jalowy, and Richard <br /> Stevens. <br /> Plan Review Members Present; <br /> Richard Stevens, Building Inspector <br /> Sheldon Hamblin, Deputy Fire Chief <br /> Torn Mayo, Town Planning Department <br /> Charlie Maintanis, Local Inspector <br /> Richard Stevens called the meeting to order at 9 a.m. <br /> of y's Auto Repair <br /> 129 industrial Drive <br /> Representative—Diane Thompson <br /> Operate an auto repair shop <br /> Diane Thompson, Zoning Consultant, appeared and said that Gary Beaulieu called her since he realized he had <br /> issues that he couldn't handle himself She handed out a copy of her memo addressed to Plan Review, dated <br /> August 14, 2008, which is attached to the printed set of these minutes. Diane Thompson also presented the <br /> following information to the Committee: <br /> Gary Beaulieu is already operational. when he cane for his business certificate that is how he became <br /> aware of this process. <br /> Board of Health hearing was scheduled for last night but was continued to September 10. Walter <br /> mentioned that at the last meeting Glen Harrington pointed out to Gary Beaulieu that the Septic System <br /> put in was bare bones. Diane said that a letter from Jack Landers-Cauley addresses this issue and is <br /> attached to her memo. Committee pointed out that this is a Board of Health issue and should be <br /> addressed to then. <br /> • Gary Beaulieu occupies urn*t# ,which is 2100 square feet. other units are 1400 square feet. <br /> Auto repair shop will have only 1 employee, so parking spaces should be enough. Committee informed <br /> her that parking spaces are not an issue; however, handicap parking is. They have 2 handicap spaces, <br /> but i must be van accessible. <br /> Even though Gary Beaulieu filing, it should legally be filed under Frank Silva, because Frank is the <br /> owner and it is his responsibility. Diane said that she understands that Frank Silva is agreeable to Gary <br /> Beaulieu doing what needs to be clone. <br /> Walter suggested that Plans be-submitted prior to meeting so Committee can review prior to the <br /> meeting. <br /> Conclusions: Issues to be dealt with...Conform to what was approved under original Special Permit; <br /> handicap parking issues; firewall separation between the buildings; Board of Health issues on Septic <br /> System; and whatever Fire Department.issues there are regarding what can and cannot be used at the <br /> site.
