Minutes of combined Meeting of � <br /> Mashpee Design Review Committee and <br /> Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br /> Held Thursday, December r 1 , 2009 <br /> Mashpee Town Hail Meeting Room <br /> Design Review Members Present: Walter Yarosh, Torn O'Hara, and Robert Nelson. <br /> Pian Review Members Present: <br /> Richard Stevens, Building inspector <br /> Sheldon Hamblin, Deputy Fire Chief <br /> Tom Fudala, Town Planner <br /> Ken Perry, Animal Control Officer <br /> Richard Stevens called the meeting to order at :31 a.m. <br /> 103 Industrial Drive <br /> Robert Bevilacqua <br /> Amend original..app ved landscape plan dated 14/01 <br /> Robert Bevilacqua appeared. As an aside, Walter commented to the Committee that this situation is <br /> a perfect example of the need to have a requirement to have an engineer certify that everything <br /> required was done. The foIIowing. iss u es/com ments-were brought to I Ir* Bevila quaffs attention: <br /> 2 ' buffer was eliminated. Eliminating the buffer is a violation and will have to be replanted <br /> with trees; Walter suggested Applicant get together with Torn Jalov y to discuss. IIIb. <br /> Bevilacqua said he just cleaned it up to make it look better. Walter said if Applicant has <br /> pictures from 2007 to shover there was nothing in the cleared area, then he should present <br /> therm. Torn Jalowy's comments were reed to Mr. Bevilacqua and he was given a copy of the <br /> handwritten list. A copy is also attached to the printed set of these minutes. <br /> • Parking has been eliminated in back and replaced with asphalt. <br /> • No umpster; and no fence enclosure for dumpster. <br /> Charlie Maintanis provided his concerns via a memo. Walter read the memo to Mr. Bevilacqua <br /> wherein Charlie states that neither handicap parking space meets AAB/ADA requirements. <br /> copy of Charlie's memo is attached to the printed set of these minutes. Walter commented <br /> that there is no choice; Charlie's concerns have to be resolved since they do not meet <br /> AAB/ADA requirements. <br /> What was built is not ghat was approved under the Special Permit. <br /> Torn Fudala stated it is a zoning violation. Either go to ZBA or come through Design <br /> Review/Plan Review and thea go to ZBA. Walter added: You can bring in a Plan of what you <br /> have; getcomments; thea go to ZBA for amendment to original permit. Walter explained that <br /> Applicant carne to the Committee and said this is ghat we want to do; now if you change your <br /> mind you have to present what you want to.do now. <br /> Torn O'Hara stated that you can't park in gravel area unless ZBA waives it. <br /> Sheldon Hamblin pointed out that for Fire Department access you have to mark area as fire <br /> department access and someone has to patrol it. <br /> Sheldon asked about location of utilities. Mr. Bevilacqua said they are all in the back. Sheldon <br /> pointed out that the gas meters should have posts as protection from traffic. Mr. Bevilacqua <br /> said he will install posts. <br /> CONCLUSION:- Tabled until next Pian is s bmi ted* <br />
