New Library Building continued) * I 5 IM�MY�++rl. David Burton...Thinks this is an opportunity if, in Fact, this Committee makes the recommendation to the Selectmen. This is an opportunity for everyone. W hen we talk about the Town,we all are the Town and have a stake in this. He said hundreds would support this Committee and assist the Town Manager and hoard of Selectmen. He said raving a back-up position is commendable and they mould support that as well. Jane Dolan,..Hope you all can continue the good work and be visionaries h n it come to-final construction of the building. Motion: Sheldon Gilbert motioned that the Committee present a recommendation to the Board of Selectmen that our first priority is to support the construction of a 20880 S - building contingent on going to the Town for $2-Million In additional bond authorization and receipt of the state grant. As a Second choice, if no state grant fronds are received, proceed in using the Town Meeting funds to finance the 14,665 SF building. Irving Goldberg seconded the motion; and it was unanimously passed. Catherine Laurent will pot together a draft for the recommendation and then the working subcommittee will review the draft and will submit the recommendation to the hoard of Selectmen. Metro Joyce asked the Committee to hold a Special Meeting to review and give recommendations for capital improvement plan. Following meetings scheduled: I Special Meeting—Tuesday,February 20, 2007 at 7 p.m. in Selectmen's Conference Room, Ton Hall, Regular Meeting—Tuesday,March 6, 2007, at 7 p.m. in.meeting Room 2 at Town Hall. Adjournment... Steve Cook motioned the meeting be adjourned; ming Goldberg seconded this motion; and it was unanimously passed. The meeting was adjourned at 8 p.m. !
