i <br /> Selection Process <br /> Evaluation of the applicants will be based on the follo ing criteria: <br /> 4 <br /> 1. Conformance to submission requirements as set forth in the RFO,- <br /> 2. <br /> . Prior similar experience; <br /> . Compreheniveness of the proposed project approach; <br /> 4. identity and qualifications of members of the firm r the individual who will work on the project <br /> including professional registration where required; <br /> .5. Timeliness of the proposed schedule for project completion; <br /> . Financial stability; <br /> 7. Familiarity with the Massachusetts Municipal funding requirements,the State Building Code, and <br /> the State Building Lavers relative to building construction; and <br /> g. Any other criteria that the selection committee considers relevant to the project. <br /> Once the proposals have been r viewed, a maximum of three firms or individuals will be selected to be <br /> interviewed. Firms maybe asked to detail their qualifications further and their ideas and approach to <br /> the project at the interview. A contract and a fee will be negotiated with the final selected firm. <br /> Selection Committee <br /> The Selection Committee will be composed of: <br /> Two members of the Planning and Construction Committee <br /> Tern Manager or designee <br /> Director of Public Works <br /> Facilities Supervisor <br /> Proposal Content <br /> Each proposal shall be organized as outlined below and shall contain the following (as a minimum): <br /> 1. Letter of Interest: Indicate interest in project{explanation of project approach, and a proposed <br /> time line for completion of the project. <br /> . Firm background: General brief description of the firm's professional capabilities, staff, <br /> organizational structure, and financial stability. <br /> . Resumes of key staff and sub-consultants who will work on the project. Include the name of the <br /> individual who wiII have primary responsibility for the project. <br />
