Town of Mashpee <br />Board of Selectmen <br />Policy No: 046 <br />Certification of Appointment Process <br />The process for appointment of Boards and Committees is as follows: <br />• The Chairman of the Board of Selectmen shall have signatory authority to certify <br />and confirm the appointment process on any and all positions within the Clerical <br />Union, DPW Union and PAP Contract subject to providing notice of such <br />appointments to the entire Board for a period of seven days prior to signing <br />authorization <br />• The Board of Selectmen will certify and confirm the appointment process by vote <br />of the entire Board at a Selectmen's Meeting on any managerial positions, <br />including but not limited to Department Head, Assistant Department Head, or any <br />personal services contract or Administrator's Contract <br />• Appointments shall be in accordance with the Mashpee Charter and Code of the <br />Town of Mashpee <br />Adopted by the Mashpee <br />Board of Selectmen <br />November 15, 2004 <br />
