North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at p.m. o <br /> Tuesday, January 4, 2000 . The Chairman, Glen Santos, presided. <br /> Committee Members present; Stephanie Jones; David Leeille; <br /> Veronica Mayer, Clerk; and Glen Santos, Chairman. <br /> Note: Committee Member, James Chisholm, unavailable until <br /> April . <br /> Also present: David Mall, Cape Cod Commission. <br /> The Chairman declared a quorum to be present and called the <br /> Meeting to order. He announced that the Meeting was being taped <br /> solely for transcription purposes. As the first order of <br /> business he recognized David Hall, waste Management Coordinator, <br /> Cape Cod Commission, for the purpose e of making an informal <br /> recycling presentation to the Committee. <br /> Mr. Hall explained he would be providing regional recycling <br /> information in an attempt to assist the Mashpee community. He <br /> then provided personal background inform at i.on, qualifications and <br /> experience both on and off Cape. He stated he has been <br /> associated with the Cape Cod Conmission since its inception in <br /> 1990 . <br /> "Presentation to Mashpee Recycling Committee, January 4, <br /> 2000, By David Hall, waste Management Coordinator, Cape Cod <br /> Commission {508} 362-3828" attached hereto as part of the <br /> official record: <br /> Integrated waste Management Planning: waste reduction, <br /> reuse, recycling which includes composting, burning or waste <br /> energy, and bury. Doting the first three methods are preferred <br /> as they are considered to be returning methods; the last two <br /> methods are not. Burning and burying produce great risk from <br /> pollution.
