The recycling hauler, &L, has expressed a preference to haul to Bourne as the Harwich plan has not yet been finalized. FYI -- Goddard Resignation Ms. warden acknowledged the resignation of Phil Goddard, Southeast District Coordinator for MRIP. Ms . warden stated she has applied for several grant applications from private entities and has every .intention of pursuing this matter as time permits. Letter/Update - Weston & Sampson -- Compactors At this point the Chairman updated Stephanie Jones as to the status of the bid for compactors. Ms. warden reported it has come to her attention that Greg Taylor has been appointed to oversee the installation aspects of the project, and that he will speak with the company ultimately hired for the project to insure there will be no additional costs over and above what has been bid in the specs. Also, Weston & Sampson are currently in the process of contacting/questioning two of the companies for clarification of certain items included in their bid proposals. -2-
