Recycling Committee <br /> Fleeting Minute <br /> November 1.8, 2002 <br /> Members present: Charlie Gasior, Nikki Descoteaux, Glean Santos <br /> Others: Catherine Laurent, Mary Keleher <br /> The meeting began at 4:00 P.M. <br /> The meeting minutes of the October 1 , 2002 meeting were approved <br /> Catherine Laurent informed the members that the Quashnet School is up and running for <br /> recycling. The High School has all of the bias that they have requested. She is still <br /> waiting to bear from the Coombs School. C. Gasior asked Catherine if she could set up a <br /> meeting with Brad Tripp and Mrs. Doyle to discuss any reservations Mrs. Doyle might <br /> have on setting up recycling bins at the Coombs School. <br /> Cather*ne informed the members that the 'transfer Station waste shed is up and running <br /> arra she expects to have the chipboard container up and running within the next couple of <br /> weeks. C. Gasior asked if a notice would be seat out to residents. Catherine told him it <br /> would be seat out within the wet . <br /> C. Dais r met with Tett Nadonly, the executive director ofthe Mashpee Chamber of <br /> Commerce, to discuss business recycling. Ted requested that C. Gaisor bring hire <br /> information on recycling and he will have one of the board members take that on as a <br /> separate project. C. Laurent suggested separate fees for business owners for items such as <br /> computers, monitors, televisions, etc, <br /> C. Laurent questioned the members as to whether or not they wanted to put on the next <br /> agenda the election of a chairman for the Recycling Committee. C. Gaisor hal mentioned <br /> to Ted Nad my that one of the committee members is supposed to be a business <br /> representative. He told the members he would cheek with Ted to see if'he has any interest <br /> 1n it. G. Santos suggested waiting to see what Ted Nad my says and they can make <br /> decision at the next meeting. <br /> The next Recycling Committee meeting will be held on December 18, 2002 at 4:00 P.M. <br />
