Gasior suggested that the Committee develop specifications to provide to <br /> condominium associations to use for bidding for trash and recyclables collection to allow <br /> the associations to compare and evaluate the costs of trash pick-up alone versus pick-up <br /> of <br /> ick- <br /> of both trash and recyclables. C. Laurent Will look to other municipalities for sample <br /> specs. <br /> OTHER <br /> The "Town has received a large quantity of door hangers from the DBP about recycling. <br /> The Connu'ttee suggested contacting the Boy Scouts for help in distribution. <br /> The Committee also discussed allowing various non-profit or ani ations to collect the <br /> redeemable bottles at the 'Transfer Station. Currently, residents may place bottles or cans <br /> in one of two bras. one bin benefits the Boy Scouts, the other bin benefits the VFW. <br /> The Boy Scouts are sometimes lapse in removing the bottles. The "Town of Barnstable <br /> has organisations sign up to collect the bottles for each month. They are then responsible <br /> for removing and redeething the bottles for the month weekly or as needed.
