Dr. Deloura recommended School Committee approval of this policy as amended. Motion made by Mrs. McKay made motion to approve bidding requirements as amended, seconded by Mrs. mills. VOTE: Unanimous 6 , 3 Updated Policy Index - Dr. DeMoua informed the " . Committee -EHat when a new policy is generated or an old one is revised, the Index and Table of Contents pages where that policy appears will be distributed to incorporate into each members policy handbook and dispose of the old one. Budget Discussions -- 1990-1991 - Dr. .DeMour suggested strongly supporting the Finance Committee YY91 budget of $5. 4M. Discussion ensued regarding urns fees, transportation, and other areas of concern. Special School Committee Meeting set up f or Thursday, May 24 , 1990 at 7: 00 p.m. in the Superintendent office. New 7 . 1 Policy Chan - Dr. DeMoura discussed the policy Business regarding student fees and will be voted on at the next meeting. 7 , 2 Park & Recreation Department - Playground- SMi r . _n at the Middle School - A request had been received from the Park & Recreation Department asking for the remainder of the playground equipment at the Middle School. Dr. DeMoura recommended approval of their request. 4. Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. McKay, to declare the equipment as surplus. VOTE: Unanimous t. 7. 3 ��naeochool Committee Meeting Room - suggestion had been made to move the School Committee meetings from the conference room at the Middle „ School to the library to be able to accommodate a larder public. Until the heat of the suruner sets in, future meetings will be held in the library. The conference room will be used for warm evenings has air conditioning) during the summer. a f} #LL
