School Building Committee -- Dr, DeMoura reported that r John Ferguson, Chairman of the Coombs School. Building ' Committee, had met with the Selectmen and they noted to disband this Committee* Also, Tony Gallo resigned as Chairman of the new School. Building Committee and Birt Jones was appointed the new Chairman. . Legislation - Nothing to report. �.. w 8 . 5 Negotiations - Dr. Deloura reported that the r Custodian sub-committee and School Committee sub- committee will meet on February 7 at : o ' .m. Also, Dr. lura will send a copy of Mr. Harrington' s wade freeze memo to Ellen Davis, President of the lashpee 'leachers' Association. 8* 6 Cultural Education Committee - Mr, Consalvi reported that this Committee ret on January 24 and discussion centered on Jim Vetter follow-up day with the Grade and 4 children and their parents, Valerie Stevens' dates are cnfirmed for spring, Silva Dan workshops and Performance are set for mid--March, Thornton Burgess is scheduled for the 'end of February for kindergarten classes, and the Academy of Performing Arts for Grades 1 , 2, and 3 students is set _for a mid- May perf ormance. 8 .7 Safe Trans ortation Task Force - A meeting was held on January 22 where discussion focused on the elementary buses and meetings will be held every other month. Other Ms. Gibbs reported that she had attended the Finance Committee meetings on January. 14 22 , 'and February 5 Adi ournm nt on a motion by Mrs .
