DeMoura discussed the school Department l s : ' 9 budget packet and asked the r Committee which format did they wish to present t the Board of selectmen and Finance Committee, Mrs Dunivan suggested -submitting tip r At this point, + the Committee decided to hold a special meeting on January 20, 1993 at 7: 00 . . in the Superintendent' s Office. Also, Dr. DeMoura will send a "Preliminary Budget" packet to Robert Whritenour, Executive Secretary, for his review. Mrs. Dunivan asked if it was possible to "tap in" to grants that the school Department currently i involved with. The answer was no, that grant monies are strictly spent for what 'is delineated in the grant itself. VIII 8 . l sub-Committee Reports Committee• sports 8. 1.1 Negotiations. - Tobe discussed in executive session. 8. 1 . 2 High school Committee - r, Petti reported that a meeting is set for January 11 , 1993 . External Reports x 8 . 2 . 1 CapeCod Collaborative - Mr# Consalvi reported that meeting was held on December 3 , 1992 where the Collaborative voted to approve the new Employee Handbook. They also accepted the audit report and approved rates for increased costs in contracted . :t. services and transportation. In addition, discussion � centered around a Cape-wide calendar that will help with scheduling of Collaborative programs when a different school systems have different vacations and inservice schedules. s } ` ` 8 . . � Leisure services - Ms. Gibbs distributed the winter Semester programs for Committee approval and said l - Leisure services is still in the process of hiring a director. Motion rade by Mrs. Dunivan, seconded. by Ms. Gibbs, : * to approve the winter serester' programs. VOTE: Unanimous .
