The regular meeting of the Mashpee School Committee was <br /> Meeting Called called to order by Chair Carole Dunivan at p.m. in <br /> to Order the Library of the Middle School. <br /> Attendees: School Committee - Chair Carole Dunivan, <br /> Vice Chair Maryanne Gibbs, David Consalvi, Janice <br /> Mills, and Dr. Elizabeth Petti. <br /> Administration - Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lincoln <br /> A. Deioura, Coombs School Principal Nick Feldman. <br /> Middle School Principal Betty Phillips was absent due <br /> to illness. <br /> I I. On notion. by Dr. Petti, seconded by Ms. Gibbs, the <br /> Approval minutes of the regular meeting held on March 2, 1994 <br /> of Minutes were approved. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> On a moti,on .by Dr. Petti, seconded by Mr. Consalvi, the <br /> minutes of the executive session of Larch 2, 1994 were <br /> approved. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous F 4 <br /> i <br /> On a motion by Ms. Gibbs, seconded by Mr. Consalvi, the <br /> minutes of the special meeting of March 3, 1994 were <br /> approved. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> III* Colin--Fitzgerald - spoke on the excessive negative <br /> Public media attention given to the School Department both in <br /> Forum the newspapers and on the radio. He said the Ma hpee <br /> school system is one df the best- in the country and <br /> would like the negativism to cease. Mrs. Dunivan <br /> assured fir. Fitzgerald the School Committee is <br /> preparing response but want to make stere "al.l the <br /> eggs are in the basket, " <br /> Sandra Cullinane Dawes - expressed concern over the <br /> parental choice of kindergarten full day and half day <br /> programs.. Nor s. Dunivan informed parents that there <br /> will be a joint meeting between the School Committee <br /> and kindergarten parents in the near future to discuss <br /> this issue. <br />
