i <br /> SCHOOL COMMITTEE <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> APRIL 26r 1994 <br /> Minutes <br /> Attendees: Chair Carole Dunivan, Maryanne Gibbs, Dr. <br /> Elizabeth Petti, Janice Mills; David Consal ri was absent. <br /> Also in attendance were Superintendent of Schools Dr. <br /> Lincoln A. L eMoura and School Department Bookkeeper Gail <br /> Scorcie. <br /> The meeting was called to order in the office of the <br /> Superintendent at 4 :45 .m. by Chair Mrs. Dunivan. <br /> Dr. DeMoura said the purpose of this meeting was to <br /> discuss the FY94 budget. A printout of open purchase <br /> orders had been prepared by Mrs. Scor ie and she was <br /> available to answer any questions the Committee may have. <br /> It was decided that future purchase orders would have a <br /> price listed and outstanding purchase order vendors would <br /> be contacted requesting an invoice immediately, <br /> Otherwise, if ars invoice is not re ei red within o days <br /> o purchase, they will net be paid. This will be noted <br /> on future purchase orders. <br /> A strategy discussion then followed regarding the <br /> upcoming Town Meeting School Department articles. The <br /> Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the, Middle School <br /> prior to the Meeting. <br /> Discussion thea followed on next year's kindergarten' <br /> program -- half day or full day everyday. Parents would <br /> be notified that, like this year, 20 students will be <br /> required to hold a half-day program. <br /> A emotion was made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Ms. Gibbs, <br /> to adjourn the special meeting at 6:03 .m. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Marjorie R.
