In order for <br /> Mashpee to successfully apply for funds to continue Project <br /> CREATE programs and activities, Mashpee must be actively <br /> pursuing accreditation, This process takes several months. <br /> Alexandra Wilkinson, Project CREATE Director, also addressed <br /> the Committee regarding working with other preschool. and <br /> Headstart programs. <br /> Viii, 811 Committee Deports <br /> Committee <br /> Reports 8. 1. 1 Negotiations - to be discussed in executive session <br /> 8 . 1.2 High school Committee - Dr. Petti said this committee will <br /> meet on May 9, 1994 alone with Grade 6 parents. <br /> .2 External Reports ; <br /> .2 . 1 Cape Cod Collaborative - Mr. Consalvi reported that th <br /> Collaborative purchased municipal insurance; 37 studen s <br /> enrolled for next year; and behavior programs were disc ssed <br /> with no decisions made. <br /> 8.2.2 Leisure Services - Due to Nis. Gibbs' absence, there wa no <br /> report this evening. <br /> V <br /> .p <br /> 8.2 .3 School Building Committees <br /> a <br /> 8.2 . 3, 1 Addition - Dr. Petti said nothing new has happened <br /> since the last School Committee meeting. <br /> 8.2 .3 .2 High School - Dr. DeMoura said this committee is <br /> meeting every Tuesday afternoon at 4-:00 p.m. in the Town <br /> Hall and all meeting are open to the public to discuss <br /> community and space needs. <br /> 8.2 .4 Legislation - Dr. Petti said there was a meeting last week <br /> and this committee perused all education bills being <br /> prepared in the Legislature. Nine wills were reviewed and <br /> support was given to registered nurses, i.e. , a registered <br /> nurse should be in the school; school year extension <br /> provided the state comes forth with more funds; new rules <br />
