He commended Suzanne Avt es on her <br /> presentation relative to the PALMS proms. <br /> The emergency school bus evacuation drill program was <br /> completed this geek. <br /> Parent conferences scheduled to begin November 15, 16, 17, 1994. <br /> Notification submitted to parents. All parents will be assigned <br /> a specific conference date and time. <br /> 5.2.2 Coombs School <br /> Coombs School Principal Nick Feldman indicated that enrollment <br /> has stabilized since the beginning of the school year. Most classes <br /> have an enrollment of 2 - 25 students. <br /> Sint after school programs began last week. A survey was <br /> distributed to parents regarding further after school programs. <br /> Over 100 parents responded. After school activities should be <br /> enlarged by mid-November. The additional activities may generate <br /> after school programs for the fourth grade students. <br /> PALMS program grant progressing well. Science teachers are <br /> training classroom teachers. The impact and timing is great for <br /> the students and teachers.. <br /> The teacher in-service gent well today at the Coombs School. <br /> Discussion followed with regards to teaching strategies to <br /> challenge students. <br />
