_ p r� <br /> PERSONNEL BOARD MINUTES <br /> MASHPEE TOWN HALL <br /> MEETING OF JANUARY , 1994 <br /> The following members of the; Personnel Board were present : Robert <br /> Sullivan, Lev Turo, Joe Del 1 agal a, Marcia Lindsey, and Schuyler Wires , <br /> The meeting convened at 10 : 15 a.m. <br /> The Personnel Administrator advised Board members that the meeting with <br /> ,im Vaccaro and Bob whritenour •was set up for 10 : 30 a.m. cin January 11 <br /> to address several personnel -related issues . <br /> .A.P Salary Schedule <br /> The Personnel Administrator passed out a copy of the work that Fane <br /> Stockbridge liad completed relative to her review of the P.A.P. sal ar <br /> schedule, upgrades of positions, etc . <br /> Bob Sullivan commented that the Board agreed in the past that the salary <br /> schedule should be expanded to include five additional steps . Several <br /> people are sitting on the fifth step and going no place . He said that <br /> the Board has submitted articles in the past and he feels that it should <br /> not be pulled again . <br /> Leo Turo said that the Board wants to be fair and equitable and that the <br /> Board of Selectmen needs to include everybody. <br /> Longevity Rates <br /> Leo Turo commented that the Personnel Beard represents another aspect f <br /> employees <br /> in the community. He said that these issues are nothing new . <br /> Relative to all the issues on the agenda, Lev suggested that the <br /> Personnel Administrator set up an employee profile with all the <br /> pertinent information for the meeting next week with Bob hritenour and <br /> Jim ,Vaccaro, He -suggested doing a comparison of the salary steps and <br /> longevity with all the Unions . He also suggested having a figure <br /> showing the cost of additional steps and longevity . <br /> New Positions and/or Support of 'undin Vacant Po iti ns <br /> The Personnel Administrator updated the Board that the Building <br /> jo Inspector was requesting support for funding the Assistant Building <br /> Inspector position .and a part-time clerical position <br /> The Board asked that the Building Inspector be scheduled to meet with <br /> them relative to his request for funding the Assistant Building <br /> Inspector position, etc . <br /> Conservation is requesting a Conservation Assistant, the Council on <br /> Aging is looking for a van driver, D.P.W. is looking for temporary help, <br /> and the Board of Selectmen are supporting the need for a Human Resources <br /> Director. Board of Health is asking for funding for a clerk for <br />
