MASHFF PERSONNEL BOARD MEETING OF MAY 23, 1994 MASHF E TOWN HALL The following members of the Board were resent : Robert cul l `�va.n, doe ella ala{ Marcia Lindsey and Schuyer Aires . Leo Turo was absent Chief Frye was also present during the meeting , Bob Sullivan convened the meeting- at 9 : 00 a m. Inter views for Police Officer ecial Police Officer The Board and Chief F.rye met with the fallowing candidates for the purpose of interviewing them for a position of Police Officer or Special Police Officer: . Anson Moore, Edwin F.ein. Sean Dunne y. David Rivera. John Doyle. and Thomas Zine . Candidates were asked set questions relating to job interest, motivation and judgement . The nate of pay of $ 10 . 98 an dour was disco sed and the hours of the position were reviewed . Each candidate "s background was discussed for job experience and education and/or academy training , At the end of the interview process , the Board narrowed down the selection process to conduct background checks on : David Rivera, T-homas Zine and Anson Moore . Mote : These interviews were in continuation of several other � interviews of candidates which took the Police Exam held last October, Job Descri tion royal Joe Dellagaia moved to accept the job description of the Assistant onservatidn -Agent with the added wards : "any other duties as may be required" . Marcia Lindsey seconded the motion. All in favor . Joe moved to accept the updated job description of the Conservation Agent with the added words : ,'any other duties as may be required" and under "Supervision' F ercised" : responsible for all Conservation Department staff . Schuyler Wires seconded the motion. All in favor. Joe mored to accept the position description of Administrative Floating Clerk with the added words : `zany other duties as may be required" . Discussion centered around the typing speed being set at 50 w . p .m. Bob Sullivan seconded the motion . All in favor. The roam reviewed the position descriptions, of Head Lifeguards, Lifeguards , Gate Attendants and Beach iperinendent , Head Lifeguard Under qualifications, they removed the requirement of a Mass . Drivers License and added the word "'preferred" to a minimum of one year# s service on ocean and/or freshwater beachfront . Item 7 was changed to read : "May not have in possession or consume alcoholic beverages . . . �t and item 11 was added : "No glass containers allowed on beach . " and an item 12 was added : "Responsible nsibla for -enforcing all beach rules and
