1 <br /> Board of Appeals Minutes - August 24r 1994 <br /> Peter Ma lions ( Continued from July 27 , 1994 meeting. ) <br /> Variance in lot size . <br /> Members sitting: E . Govoni , K. Marsters , R. Felson <br /> . Friel read a statement that the hearing was being held <br /> under Chapter 112 since taxes are due . <br /> Attorney Robert Clark represented the applicants . fir . Clark <br /> said that all taxes would be paid if lots could be used. The <br /> four lots were buildable before 1990 and lost their <br /> protection with the change in the by-lags . <br /> Mr . Govoni said lots were purchased in 1980 and were <br /> protected until 1990 . Mr . Friel asked if this had been part <br /> of another project for Huf f lehead Hay. Roscoe Blout , an <br /> abutter , said he purchased in 1969 from Gertrude Aiken.. e <br /> said he thought four houses would be too crowded but he <br /> would have no objection to having one house on two lots . <br /> Mr. Clark asked if he would object to merging the lots to <br /> create two Lots from the four , M . Blout said he would not <br /> object . Mr . Govoni said the Board had received a call fror, <br /> Jean Mooney, an abutter { who objected to four houses but not <br /> to having two houses on the four lots . Mr . Clark asked if <br /> the lots were merged were they protected. Mr. Friel said <br /> they do not have 40 , 000 sf but additional land could be <br /> acquired in the rear . Mr . Clark said Mr. Maggione would <br /> investigate possibility of getting extra land. <br /> Mr . Nelson moved to continue the hearing. Mr . Ma star <br /> seconded. All agreed. <br /> Kenneth Bates - Request to Withdraw an Application for a <br /> Variance , Members sitting : E. Govoni , J . Fried. , R. Nelson <br /> Mr . Friel moved to accept the request to withdraw. Mr , <br /> Nelson seconded. All agreed. <br /> Minutes ,- Mr . Felson moved to accept the Minutes of July 13 , <br /> July 27 and August 10 . <br /> Committee Handbook - Mr . Felson noted that the Handbook <br /> information on motions differed from Robert ' s Rules . Mr , <br /> ovoni said there may be times when the Chairman has to make <br /> motions . <br /> Richard Terry - Mr . 'ferry reviewed the Petition Zoning <br /> Article he Is submitting for the October Town Meeting , <br /> Mr . Friel moved to adjourn at 9 ; 50 . Mr . Govoni seconded. <br /> All agreed. <br /> Elinor Walsh <br />
