Permit under Sections 174-51 .D and 174--55 .B to allow <br /> for two exterior s igns exceeding 20 square feet on Building <br /> at North Market 3t . Mashpee Commons. The property i <br /> located in a C-1 zoning district at 39 Nathan Ellis Highway, <br /> Map 74 , Block ) Mashpee . MA, ( owner of record; North <br /> Market Street Assoc . Ltd. ) . <br /> Members sitting: E. Govonir J, Regan, K, Marst rs <br /> The Board received a setter from Kathy Lynch with photos of <br /> another liquor store , The Board was informed the pictures <br /> were taken at a Bourne store . Mr , Purcell reviewed the <br /> planned signing of a 3 section sign on the east and west side <br /> of the building which would conform to the architectural <br /> design of the building. Jahn Rentz of Fields Point reviewed <br /> model of the entire planned shopping plaza and explained <br /> that the buildings planned apposite the liquor store would <br /> obscure signing from abutting properties . <br /> Mr . Govoni said that the Design Review committee had <br /> requested haat paper signs not be allowed in the windows . <br /> Mr . Rentz said Fields Point had to approve any signing and <br /> would not allow this . Mr . Govoni said they will have signing <br /> at doors to give hours open, <br /> Mr . Govoni moved to brant a Special. Permit to allow for two <br /> exterior signs of 6o sf on the east and west side of the <br /> building , Each sign is mage up of three distinct bays . The <br /> buildings which will block the view of the signs from the <br /> school will be constructed in fall of 1995 . The signs are <br /> not located on the top ot the building * Mr . Regan seconded. <br /> 5 <br /> All agreed. <br /> Elizabeth Petti - (Advisement from August 24r 1994 ) . <br /> Members sitting: E. Govoni , J, Friel, Co Hawver <br /> Mr . Govoni stated that Dr . Pettifs attorney had requested a <br /> -day etens ia'n in the hearing calendar . ms , Hawver <br /> seconded. All agreed . <br /> Pawl W. Hanlon - (Advisement from September ) . <br /> Members sitting; E. Govoni , J. Regan, C. Hawver <br /> Mir. Govoni moved to grant the variance in lot size and to <br /> allow 25f front setback and 15f side setback . He stated that <br /> the lot had been maintained as a separate lot and that it <br /> would be a substantial hardship if it could not be used for <br /> the purpose for which it had been laid out and for which the <br /> balance of the lots in the subdivision were being used. <br /> Ms , Hawver seconded. All agreed. <br />
