Horne - Softball coach <br /> Leave of Absence: <br /> Grade 5 teacher school year 1995-1996) <br /> .2 Princi als' Report <br /> 5 . . 1 Middle School - Mr. Tippo informed the Committee of <br /> the following Middle School events* a field trip to Roger <br /> Williams' State Park in Rhode Island. Because this is an <br /> out-of-state trip, Mr. Tippo asked for the Committee's <br /> approval' to go. Motion made by -Mr., Consalvi, seconded by <br /> Mr. Paxton, to allow sixth graders to go to Roger Williams , <br /> State Park. VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> Also, Mr. Tippo said Officer McDonald will be taking any <br /> unclaimed bicycles from the Police Station and donate to the <br /> Coombs and Middle Schools; National. Junior Honor Society <br /> induction ceremony is set for April 13 at 1:45 p.m. ; parent- <br /> teacher conferences to be next week; report cards go out <br /> next week; and Read-Aloud week is set for May 22-26, 1995 . <br /> 5 . .2 Coombs School - Mr. Feldman passed along kudos to six <br /> students from four different classes who were recognized by <br /> the Language Arts consortium for poetry; ACES Davy set for <br /> May 12 ; Nutrition Program on April ; and there will be 32 <br /> '%teachers attending the "Understanding Teaching's course in <br /> Falmouth daring the month. <br /> 5, 3 FY95 Budc[et_ (Monthly Rev .e - Dr. DeMour-a asked if the <br /> Committee had questions on the latest budget printout. <br /> There were no questions asked, <br /> 5.4 Enrollments - fir. Dioura reported on the latest <br /> enrollment figures with 530 at the Coombs School; 881 at the <br /> Middle School, , 287 at Falmouth High School; and 56 at Cape <br /> Cod Tech which total 1,698 students in all grades. <br /> .5 Food Service Update - Dr. DeMoura said the February <br /> gross profit was $2, 179. 97 . <br /> 5.6 Cape Cod 'tech visitation - This date will be scheduled <br /> at the April 19th special meeting. <br />
