MA HPEE PUBLIC SCHOOLS <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> JULY 51 1995 <br /> minutes <br /> I . The regular meeting of the School Committee was called to <br /> Call Meeting order by Chairperson Janice Mills, at 7 : 03 p.m. in the <br /> to order Conference Room of the Mashpee Diddle school . <br /> Attendees : school Committee -- Janice Mills, Maryanne Gibbs, <br /> David Consalvi, Stephen Paxton, and Kathleen Lynch. <br /> Administration: Dr. Lincoln DeIoura., Middle school Principal <br /> Robert Ti o, Kenneth C. Coombs Principal Nick Feldman, <br /> Mashpee High school Principal John Williams . <br /> II . Chairperson Janice Mills asked if there were any corrections <br /> Approval of to the June 1, 1995, special Meeting of the school Committee <br /> Minutes minutes . Mrs . Lynch stated that on pace 6 of the minutes, <br /> under the motion rade to approve option 3, the three tiered <br /> busing schedule, for the 1995-1996 school year, she had <br /> abstained from voting and not opposed. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Paxton, seconded by Mr. Consalvi, to <br /> approve the minutes of the special meeting of June 1, 1995, <br /> with the correction on page 6. <br /> VOTE : Unanimous <br /> Motion rade by Mr. Consalvi, seconded by Ms. Gibbs, to <br /> approve the minutes of the executive session of June 1, 1995. <br /> VOTE Unanimous <br /> III . Mrs . Mills stated that, with the permission of the Committee, <br /> ubiic she would like to address item 6. 1, Meeting with Association, <br /> Forum of the agenda during the public forum. <br /> Dr. LeMoura presented a letter from the Association <br /> requesting a meeting with the school Co=ittee to discuss <br /> educational issues and he invited Ted O"Rourke to explain. <br /> Mr. O' Rourke provided a handout to the Committee outlining <br /> their ' ooncerns with the new school hours for Grades 7 and <br /> and stated the Association was primarily concerned with <br /> coverage. Mrs . Mills stated that this would need to be <br /> worked out between the teachers and administrators . Dr. <br /> eMoura assured Mr. O' Rourke that whatever was agreed to -in <br /> �` � the contract, would be adhered to . <br />
