", <br /> 8.2 .4 Legislation - Mrs. Mills said there's not too much <br /> report but lots of cuts are going on in Washington. <br /> 8 .2 .5 Safe Trans ortation Task Force -- Mr-. Paxton reported on <br /> the meting held August 15. He said the -tier transportation <br /> system is working out, the committee discussed the different <br /> scheduled. He complimented ented Wend` Sylvester of Laidlaw Transit <br /> for the work she has done on the bus routes. <br /> The next meeting i scheduled for September 19, 1995 t : o <br /> M, i <br /> 0 <br /> . re the office of the Superintendent. <br /> 8.2 . 6 Personnel - Dr. DeMoura reported on the meeting held on <br /> y August 2. Unfortunately, not too manor participants were able <br /> to attend but the MCAD report was discussed. The next meeting <br /> date has not been set as yet. <br /> Mrs. Mills suggested holding another program by the Tribal. <br /> Council for the teachers and students this year. Dr, DeMoura <br /> will discuss this with the principals. <br /> IX. Mr, Paxton questioned the Project CREATE spacing problem. <br /> Other D . DeMoura said he had been notified by the Executive <br /> Secretary the 'down Hall renovations were to 'begin. Plans had <br /> been made to move the Project CREATE program to the coombs <br /> School. Then the 'down Hall renovations were postponed until <br /> January, 1996. Project CREATE will continue to be held in <br /> Town Mall until. January. <br /> Mr. Paxton asked about the Finance Committee,'s negotiations <br /> liaison. This will be discussed during the Joint meeting <br /> between the School Committee and the Finance Committee on <br /> August 29, 1995. <br /> Mrs. Lynch expressed elementary parent concerns over the <br /> reorganization. <br /> X. on a motion made by Mrs. Lynch, seconded by Ms. Gibbs, the <br /> Adjournment School.
