Mashpee Public Schools <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> October 4, 1995 <br /> 8.2 External Reports: <br /> 8.2.2 Lei5ure Services: <br /> With regards to the Leisure Service Advisory Council and amended <br /> bylaws, the School Conunittee shall appoint one community member to <br /> the Council. It was noted that the Board of Selectmen shall also appoint <br /> one member from the con nunity at large to service the LSAC. <br /> Mrs. Cook subruxitted a letter of interest from Patrick Riley in response to <br /> the above vacancy. <br /> *It is the consensus of the School Committee; as regular policy to <br /> advertise the vacancy on local cable television prior to appointment. <br /> It was noted that a Calendar of Building Use will be presented to the <br /> School Connittee for review. <br /> 8,2.3 -School BiL in Committee: <br /> Discussion followed with regards to the Technology Conference to <br /> be held in Atlanta, Georgia. <br /> Motion made by Mrs.Lynch to authorize the high School principal, <br /> 11r. John Williams to attend the conference for 3 days for an estimated <br /> sun o $1,000. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Consalvi. <br /> TIE: Tnani <br /> '� mous. 5-0. <br /> It was noted that the School Committee will fund the above expense. <br /> Funds will be derived from the Out of State Travel Expense Account <br /> for this purpose to benefit technology for the new High School facility. <br /> 8.2.4 Ugislatim <br /> To report at thi <br />
