Specifically Assigned/ Unfinished Business Vii , 7 . 1 Annua l Deport - Included in the packet was the school New department's Annual Report input. Business Motion made by Mr. Consalvi, seconded by Mrs. Cook, t accept the ,annual Report as printed. Mr. Paxton suggested that the SMPTE program be included as part of the Annual Report. Dr. DeMoura will include write-up on this project in the Annual Report. VOTE: Unanimous 7 .2 FY9 -97 School Calendar (Proposed) - The 1996--1997 school year calendar was included in the packet. It was suggested the students return on January 1. not the second and Mr. Paxton suggested moving the Professional Day from January 29 to either January 17 or 21. The 1996 -1997 school year calendar will be voted on at the larch meeting. VIII -0 8, 1 Sub- o unittee Reports Committee Reports 8. 1. 1 lie otiations -- To be discussed in executive session. 8 . 1.2 i School Committee - Mr. Williams discussed the School Council continues to work on the student handbook and budget. 8. 1. 3 Elementary School - Mrs. Cook said a meeting was held this afternoon where the progress reports were discussed as well as the reorganization. The next meeting will be scheduled in six to eight weeks. 8 *2 External Reports 8-2 . 1 Cape Cod^Collaborative - Mr. Consalvi reported on a meeting held last week where workshops, busing on Nantucket, the budget and medicare/medicaid monies are coming in. Ir. onsalvi said he traveled to the various colla oratives on the Cape this week. 8.2.2 Leisure Services - Mrs. Cook met on January 23 and February 6. Leisure services will he coordinating the after-school. programs, The next meeting will be held on March 5 at 6:30 p.m.
