Teachers will be allowed to go to the high school daily at <br /> 1 :45 to pick up supplies for the next day. <br /> 5. To improve teaching conditions at the elementary schools, <br /> admI.nistratlon will pursue <br /> a* the use of additional copiers. <br /> b. obtaining boxes to pack supplies. <br /> C, gent two tents (40 'x401 ) to serve lunch and use as <br /> a practice area for music, <br /> d. rent tables and chairs for tents. <br /> e. contact the National Guard to assist with moving <br /> and installation of tents. <br /> f. obtain carts for internal -travel. <br /> go obtain easels or blackboards for teacher use. <br /> h. provide custodian assisting in the movement of <br /> supplies and equipment from the high school to <br /> the elementary schools and back again <br /> i. rent partitions to separate classes. <br /> Dr. e ioutra introduced High School Principal John Williams who <br /> explained in detail the alternative plan for grades 7 , 81 99 <br /> Mr. Williams said Grade 7 will be housed in the Coombs school <br /> while Grades 8 and 9 will be located in the Middle school; <br /> schedules that were distributed at the Open House will remain <br /> in effect., t <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Lynch, seconded by' yrs. Cook, to approve <br /> the delayed opening of the high school for Grades 7, 8, and 9 <br /> and ,include two music teachers krill work on September 4, 5, <br /> and 6 and three make-up days. <br /> VO Unanimous <br /> Mrs* Lynch questioned the costs for the delayed opening. Dr. <br /> eMoura said approximately $50, 000.
