MASHPEE PUBLIC SCHOOLS <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> I <br /> APRIL 2, 1997 <br /> Minutes <br /> ttendees: Chairman Stephen Paxton, Kathleen Lynch, Theresa Cool, Janice Mills, and <br /> Iarya ne Macdonald. Also in attendance was Supefintende t of Schools Dr. Lincoln A. . <br /> eMoura. <br /> The regular meeting of the Mashpee School Committee was called <br />:all Meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. in High School Conference Room -103. <br /> Order <br />:I. 2.1 Special Meeting Februga 20 1997 - On a motion by Ms. <br /> Ipproval of Macdonald, seconded by Mrs. Cool, the minutes of the special meeting <br /> dinutes of February 20, 1997 were approved. <br /> VOTE; Unanimous <br /> ous <br /> 2.2 Special Me th of Februga 2 4, 1997 - ori a motion by Mrs. Cook, <br /> seconded by Ms. Macdonald, the minutes of the special meeting of <br /> February 24, 1997 were approved. <br /> I <br /> OTE: Unanimous <br /> i <br /> 2.3 Re lar Meetingof March 5, 1997 - On a motion by Ms. Macdonald, <br /> seconded by Mrs. Cook, the minutes of the regular meeting of March 3, <br /> 1997 were approved. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 2.4 Executive Session of March 5, 1997 - on a motion by Ms. <br /> Macdonald, seconded by Mrs. Cook, the minutes of the executive session <br /> of Larch 3, 1997 were approved. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> Phyllis Sprout addressed the Committee questioning the enrollment <br /> I'lublle drop-out rate. She said, `It's a big loose end." Mr. Paxton informed <br />'drum Mrs. Sprout that about two months a printout had been generated that <br /> updated the Committee on the latest drop-out statistics. <br /> Mrs. Sprout also discussed the cum'culum review process. Her <br /> particular concerns ns centered on the health curriculum and its review <br />
