It was noted that the budget for the month <br /> (continued) of March reflected a loss of$137.23. <br /> Linda warren,Food Service Director irdieated that food sales <br /> have increased. For the month of April, the high school had 85.4% <br /> participation. The elementary schools had approximately 700 <br /> participation during this time period. <br /> Ms. warren requested the Committee place as an agenda topic <br /> of discussion in.duly, the proposed increase in school lunch fees. <br /> .3 FY27 Monthly Budcret Review: <br /> Dr.DeMoura reviewed his end of the year budget projections <br /> with members of the School Cor=ittee. As noted, there is an <br /> estimated balance of$155,416, although expenditures remain fluid. <br /> Dr. DeMoura recommended the balance be utilized to complete <br /> the math revision ($40,000), the reading revision ($100,000) for <br /> grades 1-6,replace a copier at the Quashnet Valley School <br /> ($11,000), and utilize the remainder for building maintenance. <br /> *It is the consensus of the School Committee to schedule a Budget <br /> Meeting on Thursday, May 29, 1997. <br /> i <br /> 8.4 Enrollments:. <br /> Dr. DeMoura reviewed the May enrollments with members of the <br /> School Committee and interested public. As noted, May <br /> enrollments have increased by twenty-four students to reflect a <br /> total enrollment figure of 1882 for the month of May. <br /> To date, 134 students have registered for kind&rgarten informed <br /> Dr. DeMoura. <br /> *Dr. DeMoura was requested to review the progress of seniors <br /> attending Falmouth High School and Cape Cod Tech. <br />
